I’m super-proud of this week’s 1000 episode with Dr. Gabriel Rockhill.
Gabriel Rockhill is an academic, author, organizer and activist. He is the Founding Director of the Critical Theory Workshop which operates both in the US and in France. He’s one of the few radical academics out there in the US, and an incredibly brilliant guy to talk to. Professor Rockhill gives the best definition and analysis of fascism I’ve ever heard. Also, one disclaimer: When this interview was recorded, Cornel West was still running with the Green Party. He no longer is, that topic does come up in the interview, the theme is still relevant and at the time he was still running as a Green. Also, I make a Lennon/Lenin joke that doesn’t connect, but hey, can’t win ‘em all.
